John has a background of expert shooting instruction and shooting instructor training. He brings to the company the experience of twenty years of instructing at Yeavley Shooting Grounds in Derbyshire, England for Edward Chatfield.

The following ten years were spent in the United States, instructing and training nationally, as well as developing the shooting facilities at Brays Island, South Carolina and at the Ford Plantation, Georgia.

John helped create and institute the national standard for training and certifying shooting instructors in the United States, as Chief Instructor for the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA).

John is an expert target setter for National and World Sporting Clay Championships.
